Weezer drop “Hero” video, push back Van Weezer album

UPDATE: Van Weezer is out today! Stream it in full below.

Weezer has pushed back the release of their upcoming Van Weezer album indefinitely, but to tide fans over, they’ve just shared the video for the new track “Hero,” a typically catchy Weezer tune that nonetheless has some of the promised shredding the Van Weezer title hinted at. Stream the new track below.

Weezer also announced that they will be supporting COVID-19 frontline workers by teaming up with Postmates, Feed Hero Nurses, and Random Acts to feed nurses in L.A. tonight by providing meals from Uncle Paulie’s Deli, making good on the premise of the new song.
