Originally scheduled to open this year’s SXSW Film Festival before it was cancelled due to the coronavirus, Judd Apatow’s Pete Davidson vehicle The King of Staten Island is now heading to video on demand on June 12th, where you can watch it from the comfort and safety of your home.
The film marks Pete Davidson’s first major starring role and is loosely based on his life (he also co-wrote the script). The King of Staten Island features a stacked cast including Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow, and Steve Buscemi.
