You won’t have to travel very far to see Bill & Ted Face the Music; the third Bill and Ted movie will now be released on VOD and in select theatres on September 1. To celebrate this most excellent news, Orion/VVS has shared the latest trailer for the film. Watch that below.

Alongside Alex Winter as William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Keanu Reeves as Theodore “Ted” Logan, Bill & Ted Face the Music also features Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine as their daughters, alongside Schaal, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Holland Taylor, Kid Cudi, Anthony Carrigan, Jillian Bell, Beck Bennett, William Sadler, Hal Landon Jr. and Amy Stoch.



From the official synopsis:

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan.  Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

Bill & Ted are also heading to Comic-Con@Home this weekend, for a panel hosted by Kevin Smith. That goes down Saturday, July 25 at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST. The panel will include Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, Samara Weaving, Bridgette Lundy-Paine and William Sadler, as well as director Dean Parisot and screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
