Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard has been arrested, charged with sexual assault

Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard, 34, has been arrested and charged with sexual assault.

From the Toronto Police release:

It is alleged that: 

– on three dates in 2016, a man met with two women on separate occasions 

– the man committed a Sexual Assault on each of them. 

On Monday, July 23, 2018, Jacob Hoggard, 34, of Vancouver, was arrested. He was charged with: 

1) Sexual Interference 
2) two counts of Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm 

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, July 26, 2018, 2 p.m., room 111. 

Police are concerned there may be other victims.

Numerous allegations of sexual assault against the singer came to light last year in the midst of the band’s tour (which was eventually cancelled).
