After endless rumours and speculation, Sony has officially announced the release date, pricing, and launch games for its next-gen console, the PlayStation 5.
The digital console is priced at $399 USD / $499 CAD and is set for release on November 12, 2020. The digital model will be a disc-less “digital edition,” while a version with a disc drive will run $499 USD / $629 CAD.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales game will be available at launch, with Final Fantasy 16 to follow (both are Playstation exclusives). The ubiquitous smash Fortnite will also be available at launch. Sony also debuted new trailers for Resident Evil: Village, God of War: Ragnarok, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, Deathloop, and more.
