Richard Donner, the legendary director of Hollywood blockbusters including 1978’s Superman, The Goonies, the Lethal Weapon franchise, Scrooged, and The Omen, has died at 91.
According to a report in Deadline Hollywood, Donner’s wife, producer Lauren Schuler Donner, and his business manager confirmed that Donner died on Monday, July 5.
Donner’s last feature film, 16 Blocks, was released in 2006.
