Netflix goes behind-the-scenes of the disastrous Fyre Festival in new documentary (watch the trailer)

With its promises of a luxury festival on a private island in the Bahamas spearheaded by Ja Rule, the Fyre festival quickly descended into chaos as partiers with enormous disposable income found themselves stranded in a tent city, living off toast and processed cheese as they struggled to get back home.
Netflix is now tackling the most derided festival of all time in a new documentary, FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, including interviews with festival co-founder Billy McFarland, who was convicted of fraud and sentenced to six years in prison for his part in the scheme.
Check out the trailer for the documentary below. FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened lands on Netflix on January 18.
