Iceland’s Kaleo took over Montreal’s MTelus for a two-night stand

Icelandic blues-rock band Kaleo returned to Montreal for a two-night stand at MTelus this past week, their first area show since playing Laval’s Place Bell back in 2018.

Touring in support of 2021’s Surface Sounds LP, the band (vocalist and guitarist JJ, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson, lead guitarist Rubin Pollock, and harmonicist Þorleifur Gaukur Davíðsson) took over the MTelus theatre on April 21-22 with support from Toronto’s Moscow Apartment.

Check out photos from the first might via Bad Feeling Magazine photographer Eva Blue below. For all upcoming tour dates visit the official Kaleo site.
