Opeth and Mastodon teamed up for a whale of a show at Place Bell (photos)

Metal juggernauts Opeth and Mastodon kicked off their co-headlining tour at Place Bell in Laval April 21, delivering a double-bill of intricate and progressive metal coupled with plenty of trippy visuals.

Mastodon is hitting the road in support of their eighth studio album, 2021’s Hushed and Grim, while Opeth is out supporting their 13th LP, 2019’s In Cauda Venenum.
