Kevin Smith has unleashed the first trailer for his upcoming horror anthology, Killroy Was Here. Smith debuted the trailer during a panel at the virtual San Diego Comicon this past weekend.
The film centers around Killroy, a creature with a phallic-like nose, and a number of stories that revolve around him brutalizing folks in bloody ways. The trailer features a number of Kevin Smith regulars, including Jason Mewes as a janitor, and Smith’s daughter Harley.
Smith wouldn’t commit to a timeframe for the film’s release, but mentioned it might be out this year. “Maybe by the end of 2020, who knows?” says Smith. “If we even have an end of 2020, hopefully, we’re all still here.”
In other Kevin Smith news, his sophomore favourite Mallrats is getting the deluxe Blu-ray treatment courtesy of Arrow Video this September. All of the details for that release are here.
