Bad Feeling Magazine Podcast # 32 with director Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room)

Director Jeremy Saulnier is on the podcast to discuss his intense new thriller Green Room. The film revolves around The ‘Aint Rights, a young idealistic punk band who take the wrong gig while out on tour, and end up in a face-off with a Nazi skinhead gang, led by none other than Patrick Stewart.

If you thought Saulnier’s previous film, the revenge thriller Blue Ruin was brutal, then strap in; Green Room goes to places few mainstream thrillers ever tread. An instant cult classic, this is a film that needs to be seen with a large (and preferably inebriated crowd) for maximum effect.

We speak with Saulnier about his background with punk and hardcore in the Washington, D.C. scene, hate groups hiding in plain site, why Patrick Stewart was right for this role, and much more.

Listen to the interview here, or via the embedded media player at the top of the page.

Green Room is in theatres now, and hits Blu-ray and DVD on July 12.
