Ottawa Explosion, the annual punk / garage / power-pop festival, has unveiled the initial lineup for their 2015 edition. Taking place June 17-21 in the Nation’s Capital, this year’s lineup features a great mix of US bands that almost never make the trek up north, including 2 of famed skater / Recess Records owner Todd Congelliere’s bands (Toys That Kill & Underground Railroad to Candyland), along with a large number of Canadian acts, stretching from Vancouver (Needles//Pins) to Moncton (Feral Trash). Ottawa’s strong punk scene is of course well represented, including a rare appearance by The White Wires, as well as local stalwarts The Steve Adamyk Band and Crusades.
Check out the list of of the confirmed bands below, along with a video of The Marked Men playing at last year’s edition. Early bird weekend passes are available now for $60.
