Weyes Blood mesmerized a sold-out crowd at Montreal’s MTelus (photos)

Weyes Blood played their biggest Montreal headline show to date this past week, packing out Montreal’s MTelus on March 7. The tour is in support of their latest LP, 2022’s acclaimed And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow.

Natalie Mering’s Weyes Blood project has evolved into an epically lush sound that finds the middle ground between Kate Bush, the Laurel Canyon ’70s sound, and Pet Sounds-era Beach Boys, and that sublime mix was on fine display in Montreal.
