Surprise! Buoyed by the unlikely success of their recent cover of Toto’s “Africa,” Weezer just dropped a whole album of covers on streaming services late last night. Yet another self-titled album (which the band is referring to as The Teal Album), the release features 10 cover songs, ranging from the recent Toto hit to tracks by TLC, Michael Jackson, Tears for Fears, and more.
Weezer hit the road with the Pixies this March for a co-headlining North American tour, including a stop at Montreal’s Bell Centre on March 13.
