Turbo Times Friday in photos (USA Out of Vietnam, Oktoplut, Biblical, Indian Handcrafts)

Turbo Haus

Turbo Haus has been a much-needed live resource in the South-West end of the city for a couple of years now, offering up an intimate space for local and touring bands, and recently expanding its scope to include lectures and film screenings. That multi-disciplinary drive was the inspiration for Turbo Times, the first-annual Turbo Haus festival, which kicked off with a live stand-up taping by Montreal comedian Tranna Wintour on October 12,  a Turbo Talk lecture on career highlight projects on October 13, and two massive live bills featuring USA Out of Vietnam, Oktoplut (who we recently spoke with), Indian Handcrafts and Biblical on October 14, and Greys, Heathers, Partner and Silver Dapple on October 15.

Below you can check out photos from the ear-splitting Friday show, courtesy of Jason Hughes. For all upcoming Turbo Haus events, head over to turbohaus.ca.
