After virtual and scaled-down events over the past two years due to the pandemic, the Montreal Jazz Fest is coming back in a big way this summer. The festival has revealed the full list of free outdoor and indoor ticketed events for this year’s edition, which will wrap up with a free outdoor bash on July 9 headlined by beloved hip hop group The Roots.
Other free outdoor shows include the return of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats (July 5), Kamasi Washington (July 2), Tash Sultana (June 30), and more.
On the indoor ticketed front, highlights include a double-bill with The Psychedelic Furs and punk legends X at MTelus (July 9), Woodkid at MTelus (July 5-6), Masego at MTelus (July 4), and many, many, more.
Check out the poster for this summer’s edition below. The Montreal International Jazz Fest runs from June 30 – to July 9, 2022. Tickets will be available on public sale starting Friday, April 1 at 10 am via the official Jazz Fest site.
