The Kids in the Hall return to Montreal on May 23

The Kids in the Hall return to Montreal’s St-Denis Theatre on May 23.

The kids are back! Eight years after their last Montreal appearance, Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson will return with a new The Kids in the Hall show at Theatre St-Denis on May 23.

The Kids in the Hall originally ran as a sketch show on CBC from 1988-1994, introducing characters including The Chicken Lady, Gavin, Headcrusher, and Cabbage Head. The group also released one feature film, 1996’s cult favourite Brain Candy, and returned to screens in 2010 for the Death Comes to Town mini-series.

The press release promises that the show will see the return of classic characters, along with new material. Tickets for the Montreal stop are available now via http://www.hahaha.com/KITH. In the meantime, relive some classic Kids in the Hall sketches below.

The Kids in the Hall perform May 23 at Theatre St-Denis (1594 St-Denis) at 8:00pm. Tickets, $39.50 / $59.50 are available now via http://www.hahaha.com/KITH
