Taking place in the Quebec city of Rouyn-Noranda from August 29 – September 1, this year’s lineup includes returning festival favourites Half Moon Run, Quebec MC of the moment Loud (who recently performed two back-to-back shows at Bell Centre), Canadian rock royalty The Sadies, the madcap DJ Koala, Montreal metalcore act Despised Icon, Japan’s The 5,6,7,8’s (featured on the Kill Bill soundtrack), and dozens of others.

Other festival highlights include Austin psych-rockers …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Quebec hip hop collective Alaclair Ensemble, Koriass, La Force (Ariel Engle of Broken Social Scene), Montreal fractured dance punks Victime, and much more.

Passes are available now via the official FME site.

We unfortunately missed last year’s festival, but you can check out our recap of the 2017 edition below, along with our interview with FME co-founder and vice-president Jenny Thibault.
