80’s U.K. sensations Tears For Fears are hitting the road on a co-headlining run with Hall & Oates this summer (that won’t be hitting Montreal), but the band has just announced a headlining show of their own at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Place des Arts on June 22, 2017.
Unlike other bands from that era, Tears For Fears has aged incredibly well, and omnipresent hits like “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “Shout,” and “Mad World” (revived for a new generation in Donnie Darko), still sound as relevant as ever amongst current indie-pop playlists.
Tickets for the Montreal show range from $73.25 to $139.75 (including taxes and service fees), and go on-sale Friday, May 5 at noon via evenko.ca. In the meantime, check out some classic Tears For Fears cuts below.
