Sigur Rós announce 2017 dates (Montreal’s Place des Arts on May 30)

Iceland’s Sigur Rós have announced a slew of tour dates for next spring, including a return to Montreal on May 30 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place-des-Arts.

This run of shows features the experimental rock band as their core three-piece, eschewing the string and brass sections they’ve been touring with in recent years. As with the similar shows the band performed in 2016, there will be no opening act on these dates, with the band performing two career-spanning sets per night.

Tickets for the tour go on-sale this Friday, December 16th at 10am via evenko and Place-des-Arts. The band is also offering a pre-sale link in exchange for signing up for their mailing list.

Check out a trailer for the current tour below, along with all upcoming tour dates.
