AND JUST LIKE THAT…Sex and the City is back (without Samantha)

Seven years after the show wrapped up its influential run, Sex and the City is back.

HBO Max has announced the return to the Sex in the City universe with AND JUST LIKE THAT…, an upcoming 10-episode new series reuniting Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon as three friends navigating their friendship and love life in New York City.

If you consider yourself a Samantha, you may notice that Kim Cattrall is not on that list — she is the only one of the original four characters who will not be returning for the new series.

“I grew up with these characters, and I can’t wait to see how their story has evolved in this new chapter, with the honesty, poignancy, humor and the beloved city that has always defined them,” said Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content, HBO Max.

Production on AND JUST LIKE THAT… is expected to begin this coming spring.
