Rockfest Friday in photos (Rancid, Godsmack, Dimmu Borgir, Sum 41 and more)

Rockfest 2018
June 15, 2018
Montebello, Quebec

The sleepy Quebec town of Montebello was once again overtaken by thousands of metal, punk, ska and hardcore fans this past weekend for the annual Rockfest pilgrimage. This year’s lineup featured a mix of returning favourites to the festival including Rancid, Sum 41, Weezer and many more, along with newcomers like Prophets of Rage and The Toy Dolls (making their first Canadian appearance in their nearly 40-year history).

Below you can relive the madness of the Friday shows via Jason Hughes‘ photos. Our photos from Saturday, including Weezer, The Toy Dolls, Municipal Waste, Tenacious D, and more are here. If you made the trip, let us know what you thought of this year’s festival over on our Facebook page!
