Quebec will continue code red restrictions on bars, restaurants, and theatres through January 11, 2021

After much speculation, the Quebec government has announced its plans for the holiday period. Up to 10 people will be allowed to gather from December 24-27 for the holiday period.

Premier François Legault made the announcement today while asking Quebecers to make a “moral contract” to quarantine for a week before and after the holiday period.

The government also announced that the current “code red” standing for bars, restaurants, and theatres will remain in effect at least until January 11, 2021.

If those dates are hard to keep track of, the government provided a handy calendar for the 7-week period, which illustrates the restrictions and permissions for each day from December 1 through to mid-January.
