Pouzza Fest
May 19, 2016

Pouzza Fest, Montreal’s annual punk party, just wrapped up it’s sixth edition with over 100 punk, ska, hardcore and indie bands playing over three days in the downtown core. This year the outdoor stage essentially became a festival unto itself, featuring free shows, a beer garden with 25 independent taps, a hairdresser for all your mowhawk needs, a tattoo station, food, and more.

Below you can check out photos from the festival’s opening night, including New York hardcore vets Sick of it All, The Planet Smashers, Brutal Youth, Big D and the Kids Table, and many more. All photos courtesy of Jason Hughes and Michael Kovacs.

Photos from the Saturday shows, including Pouzza Baseball, are here, and Sunday photos are here.
