The fiercely brutal industrial metal outfit Godflesh were one of a number of reunions at this year’s POP Montreal, alongside fellow 90’s vets Babes in Toyland, and 60’s garage rockers The Sonics.

With an 11-song setlist split up fairly evenly between 2013’s reunion LP, A World Lit Only by Fire, and cuts from the band’s classic output, including three tracks from their punishing 1989 debut Streetcleaner, Godflesh clearly had little interest in relying on nostalgia.

The band brought along a mesmerizing video and light show to compliment their earth-shaking soundtrack, which you can see in the below photos courtesy of Jason Hughes. Godflesh have a number of North American dates lined up through September – for more info visit facebook.com/Justin-K-Broadrick.
