POP Montreal has just unveiled the first wave of artists for its 2017 edition, and it’s a typically eclectic mix of great acts.
The lineup includes underground junk rock legends Royal Trux, Wu Tang mastermind RZA (who will perform a live score to the classic film The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin), New Orleans’ genre-benders Hurray for the Riff Raff, Thee Oh Sees, the return of locals Think About Life, The Besnard Lakes, Jay Som, Brazilian samba performer Elza Soares, Austra and many more. Check out the full list below, along with a promo video for this year’s edition. POP Montreal runs from September 13-17, 2017 at numerous venues throughout the city.
