Pixies to play Montreal’s Metropolis this September

Three years after their last Montreal stop, 80’s alt-rock heroes Pixies are finally set to return to the city next fall, for a show at Metropolis on September 27, 2017. The band is touring behind 2016’s Head Carrier, their second post-reformation album (and first without original bassist Kim Deal).

Tickets for the Metropolis show are $60.50 – $63 and go on-sale this Friday, February 24th at 10:00 am via evenko.ca.

We spoke with Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago a while back about reforming the band, moving on without Kim Deal, his love of stand-up comedy and a lot more — check out the full interview here.
