Osheaga Through the Ages celebrates the festival with live shows and the Music on Paper exhibition

While the 15th-anniversary Osheaga blowout has been postponed to 2022, Osheaga Through the Ages is keeping the festival magic alive this summer.

The anniversary event kicks off today with the launch of the Music on Paper exhibition at the Galerie de la Maison du Festival (above L’Astral at 305 Ste-Catherine Street West). Featuring retrospective live shots of Osheagas past from photographers Susan Moss, Tim Snow, Patrick Beaudry, and more, alongside silk-screened posters from throughout the festival’s editions by illustrator and curator Pat Hamou. Select photos and posters will also be on sale throughout the exhibit, which runs from August 6 – 21 (Tuesday – Sunday from 12 pm – 6 pm).

Anyone familiar with Osheaga knows that fashion is a major component of the festival experience and that link will be celebrated on August 21 as part of the FASHION+DESIGN Festival at the Quartier des Spectacles in downtown Montreal.

In addition to the Music on Paper exhibition, Osheaga Through the Ages will also present a series of live concerts throughout August. Featuring local performers who have played at the festival in years past, the series of indoor shows at MTelus and L’Astral will include performances from Rymz, Foreign Diplomats, Matt Holubowski, Elephant Stone, KALLITECHNIS, Le Couleur, Paupiere, and more.
