Original Star Wars trilogy Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch has died at 75

Jeremy Bulloch, the actor who portrayed the iconic bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy, has died at 75.

Fett had minimal screen time in the original trilogy, but his appearances in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi made him a fan favourite, and were brought to life through Bulloch’s imposing presence and swagger.

News of Bulloch’s passing was shared earlier today by actor Daniel Logan, who played a young version of Boba Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.

Bulloch had a long acting career dating back to the late 1950s, including roles in James Bond films and Doctor Who. He was a mainstay on the convention circuit for years, and appeared at the Montreal Comicon in 2017.

The Boba Fett character recently appeared on the Star Wars Disney+ show The Mandalorian, played by Temuera Morrison, who played Fett’s father, Jango, in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.

RIP Jeremy Bulloch, and thank you for firing up our collective imaginations!
