The official trailer for 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is here

Following a leaked bootleg version of the trailer that appeared on file sharing sites late Thursday night, Warner Bros. have unveiled an HD trailer for director Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Check it out below.

The trailer doesn’t reveal any major plot points, apart from the fact that Superman has become seen as an enemy by the citizens of Metropolis, with someone going so far as to spray-paint “False God” on his statue. The film seems to be treading in the same dark waters as the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, as well as Snyder’s Man of Steel, which contentiously had Superman killing the film’s villain in the finale.

Finally, we also learn that Ben Affleck’s Batman is voiced just as ridiculously as Christian Bale’s gravel-throated rendition of the Caped Crusader.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in March, 2016. What do you think of trailer? Let us know in the comments below!
