Montreal’s OUMF festival returns with three days of free outdoor shows this week (Loud, Rymz, Naya Ali, and more)

Loud performs a free outdoor show as part of OUMF Montreal.

Montreal’s back-to-school festival OUMF returns for its 9th edition this year, with three days of free outdoor shows on Saint Denis from September 5 – 7.

The Thursday, September 5 lineup includes Naya Ali, Of Course, Brown Family, J.A.M., and more.

Friday, September 6 sees ÎleSoniq take over OUMF with a headlining set from Russia’s VOLAC & Phlegmatic Dogs, who perform a mix of bass, garage and house music. The Friday lineup also includes Wordup!, the a capella battle rap show, performances from Lit Gang, Fafa Khan, and more.

OUMF wraps up on Saturday, September 7 with the massive Joy Ride Records showcase, featuring Loud (fresh off his pair of Bell Centre shows this past spring), Rymz, Charlie Shulz, David Lee, Fatima, Freddy Gruesum, Imposs, Karma, Randy, Shash’U, Tizzo & Canicule and William Hennessey, alongside afternoon sets from Ragers, Kap.Dog, and more.


All shows are completely free, and located on Saint Denis near Ontario.
