Montreal’s long-running indie band Jesuslesfilles is back with “Troisième semaine,” the first single off their upcoming fourth album, L’heure idéale, out on June 18th via Duprince (The Brooks, Bon Enfant).
“Troisième semaine” is a driving indie-rock track buoyed by jangly guitars and the band’s wistful harmonizing. The accompanying video is made up of collage and stop-motion animation by Philippe Beauséjour (aka Phil Console) and marks the first chapter in what will be a series following the band’s journey out west in search of the El Dorado.
Check out the video below. You can pre-order Jesuslesfilles’ L’heure idéale via Bandcamp.
