Montreal live music venues and theatres can re-open as of March 26, Premier François Legault has announced.

Social distancing measures will remain in effect, and shows will have to be done early to accommodate for the (newly extended) 9:30 pm curfew.

The curfew in all Quebec “red zones” will be extended from 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm as of tomorrow (March 17).

As Quebec’s vaccination record ramps up, Legault also announced that every Quebec resident who wants a vaccine will be able to have their first shot by June 24, just in time for St-Jean-Baptiste Day.

This is a breaking story — stay tuned for more details.
