After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Montreal International Jazz Fest is back in full force.
Last night’s opening festivities included a free outdoor headlining set from Tash Sultana that absolutely packed the streets, a thrilling and swinging lesson in jazz history from Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, outdoor sets from Jesse Mac Cormack, Angelique Francais, AHI, and more.
