Maynard James Keenan confirms Tool have actually completed recording their new album

Tool are known for being perfectionists in the studio, but it seems that they are finally getting somewhere with their long-awaited fifth album, which would be their first since 2006’s 10,000 Days.

Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan tweeted today that his vocal tracks for the upcoming album are finished, and that the band is now in the “long” mixing process.

Tool are set to hit the road for a number of festival dates starting in May. Check out all of the confirmed dates below. We last caught Tool at their mind-bending show at Bell Centre in 2017. Check out our full review and photos here.
