Margaret Cho, Bill Burr, Rachid Badouri, and Sebastian Maniscalco headed to Just for Laughs

After dribbling out a sneak preview of this summer’s Nasty Show last month, Just for Laughs has announced that Margaret Cho, Bill Burr, Rachid Badouri, and Sebastian Maniscalco are all set to perform at this year’s edition of the festival.

Triple Grammy and Emmy winner Margaret Cho, fresh off her controversial appearance as Kim Jong-Il at the Golden Globes, will unleash her new show, There’s no “I” in Team, but there is a Cho in Psycho, July 24th at Theatre Olympia.

Bill Burr, recipient of last year’s Just for Laughs Stand Up Comedian of the Year, will headline two nights at Theatre Olympia, on July 22nd and July 23rd. Burr’s hilariously biting show last summer was one of the highlights of the festival, so expect tickets to disappear quickly for this one.

The Ethnic Show’s lineup has also been revealed, including the addition of Montreal-based star Rachid Badouri, making his first Just for Laughs appearance. Hosted by Alonzo Bodden, the festival’s most diverse show will run for 10 performances at Club Soda, from July 8th to July 19th. The lineup also includes Frank Spadone, Gina Yashere, Dan Naturman, Ahmed Ahmed, and Ronny Chieng.

Finally, frequent late-night TV guest Sebastian Maniscalco will bring his Aren’t You Embarrassed? show to Le Gesù from July 20th to July 26th. Maniscalco’s 11-show run offers plenty of opportunities to catch his understated, observational humour in an intimate room.

Just for Laughs will be announcing additional acts throughout the month, so stay tuned for further updates. In the meantime, check get a taste of today’s confirmed acts with the below videos.

Pre-sale tickets for all four shows are available today as of 10am. General on-sale begins on April 2 at 10am. For tickets and additional information, visit http://www.hahaha.com/.
