Margaret Cho and Ciara are playing free shows for Montreal Pride Festival

Legendary comedian Margaret Cho and R&B singer Ciara are headed to Montreal’s Pride Festival this August. Each performer will play a free show at the festival’s Parc des Faubourgs (corner of De Lorimier and Ontario).

Cho takes the stage on Friday August 16th at 8:00 pm, while Ciara performs on Saturday, August 17th at 8:00 pm. The full list of acts for each night will be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to the main shows at Parc des Faubourgs, there are a number of dance nights, drag shows and comedy events throughout Pride week, including Lesbian Speed Date From Hell! (August 10 – 16, Le Ministère), performances of the beloved rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch (August 8 – 10, Café Cléopâtre), and Being Britney, a multidisciplinary tribute to Britney Spears starring Tranna Wintour and Thomas Leblanc (Aug 14, Parc des Faubourgs).

Montreal Pride runs from August 8 to 18, 2019, with the 36th Pride Parade happening on Sunday, August 18. For tickets and more info visit the official Pride website.
