LUPIN returns! Assane is out for revenge in Part 2 of the hit Netflix show (watch the trailer)

While many viewers are still catching up with the first episodes of Lupin, the smash French Netflix heist show is already slated to return with new episodes.

Filmed at the same time as the first “season,” the new episodes feature Assane (Omar Sy) seeking revenge against Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre) after tearing Assane’s family apart.


Inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin, the series features the daring exploits of “gentleman thief” Assane, and their effect on his family.

Here is the official synopsis for Part 1:

As a teenager, Assane Diop’s life was turned upside down when his father died after being accused of a crime he didn’t commit. 25 years later, Assane will use “Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar” as his inspiration to avenge his father.

Created by George Kay and François Uzan, Lupin also stars Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Shirine Boutella, and Soufiane Guerrab.


Check out the trailer for the second part of Lupin below, which looks quite a bit more like Taken than Ocean’s 11. No release date has been announced yet.
