Just for Laughs reveals the first names for the 2019 festival (Trevor Noah, Jim Jefferies, Jimmy Carr, Bobby Lee, and more)

Just for Laughs has revealed the first slate of performers for this summer’s upcoming comedy festival.

Trevor Noah brings his Loud and Clear Tour to the Bell Centre on Friday, July 26 at 8:00pm, while festival favourite Jim Jefferies will host a pair of galas on July 25 at 7:00pm and 9:45pm in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.

British comic Michael McIntyre will bring his Big World Tour to Théâtre Maisonneuve on Thursday, July 26 at 7:00pm.

On the club shows front, The Ethnic Show returns for 19 performances, hosted by Cristela Alonzo. Gina Yashere and Dave Merheje will also be part of the lineup of one of the festival’s most popular shows. The Ethnic Show runs from Wednesday, July 10 to Thursday, July 25 at Club Soda and MTELUS.


Festival regular Jimmy Carr returns to host the Brit(ish) show, which runs from Friday, July 26 to Saturday, July 27 at 7:00pm at MTELUS.

Finally, The Nasty Show takes over MTelus fromn Wednesday, July 17 to Saturday, July 27 with Bobby Lee as host.

Just for Laughs runs from July 10 – 28. Tickets for all shows are available now via the official Just for Laughs site. Stay tuned for more lineup announcements in the coming weeks.
