Jimmy Carr and Gad Elmaleh confirmed for Just for Laughs

Brit comic Jimmy Carr is set to perform 5 show at this July’s Just for Laughs

Following the lineup announcements for The Nasty Show and The Ethnic Show earlier this year, Just for Laughs have revealed the first solo acts for this summer’s edition; Brit comic Jimmy Carr and and French comedian Gad Elmaleh!

The master of brutal one-liners, UK comic Jimmy Carr has long been a Montreal favourite, making regular appearances at the festival, including a slot on TheNasty Show last year. Carr’s standup special Funny Business was released by Netflix in March. He performs 5 shows at le Gesù, from July 25-30.

The multilingual Gad Elmaleh is one of the biggest comic stars in France, and he has developed a large following here as well, including a run of sold-out shows this past fall. Elmaleh will be bringing his new English show Oh My Gad to le Gesù for four performances, from July 26-29.

Pre-sale tickets for both show are onsale now via hahaha.com (password: JFLMTL). Regular onsale is this Wednesday, April 6 at 10am. Just for Laughs 2016 runs from July 13- 31, 2016. Stay tuned for further lineup announcements in the coming weeks.
