Dave Chappelle & John Mayer bring their Controlled Danger show to Just for Laughs July 28

The unlikely pair of Dave Chappelle and John Mayer are bringing their Controlled Danger show to Canada for the first time. Billed as “the ultimate night of comedy + music,” the duo will team up for a Just for Laughs show July 28th at Bell Centre.

Tickets start at $69.25 and go on-sale Friday, June 8th at 10:00 am via evenko.ca.

The show will also feature the same anti-cell phone policy Chappelle has used for his recent shows. From the press release:

This is a strict NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED show. No cameras or recording devices will be allowed. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night, and if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations. Anyone caught with a cell phone in the venue will be immediately ejected. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
