Comedian James Mullinger brings his Almost Canadian standup tour to Montreal on April 24 (win tickets!)

James Mullinger led a glamorous life in the UK, serving as comedy editor at GQ and pursuing his own career as a standup, before he decided to pack it all in for the similarly glamorous…Saint John, New Brunswick.

What might have amounted to a form of career suicide has actually turned into an unexpected success story, with Mullinger’s standup career skyrocketing since moving to Atlantic Canada, including selling out the Harbour Station Arena in Saint John on two separate occasions, a feat not even Jerry Seinfeld or Guns N’ Roses could manage.

James Mullinger is set to bring his new standup tour, Almost Canadian, to Montreal’s Théâtre Sainte-Catherine on April 24, which features his uniquely hilarious take on his new adopted home. Tickets are available here, and we have a pair up for grabs! To enter, send your full name with the subject line “James Mullinger” to contests@badfeelingmag.com.

Check out a trailer for James Mullinger’s Almost Canadian special below. For all upcoming tour dates head to Mullinger’s official site.

James Mullinger performs at Théâtre Sainte-Catherine on April 24 at 8:00 pm with Walter Lyng and Reese Turner. Tickets are available here.
