Green Day frontman Bille Joe Armstrong’s new project is hitting the road. Armstrong’s The Longshot released their debut EP a few days ago and they’ve just announced a run of tour dates including an intimate show at Foufounes Electriques on May 29th. Tickets are $27.50 in advance and go on-sale Friday, April 27th. We’ll update with on-sale info as it comes in.
Little is known about The Longshot yet, but their live debut a few days ago featured David S. Field, Kevin Preston and Green Day touring musician Jeff Matika. The set list also included a number of classic punk covers along with a pair of Green Day deep cuts. Check out a stream of the debut EP along with two even newer singles below.
