Updated: Wolf Parade are back, playing residencies in Toronto, New York and London

Six years after setting off on an indefinite hiatus, Montreal’s Wolf Parade appear to be back.

The band’s re-designed website popped up today, featuring the Wolf Parade logo and “2016.” The band also launched new Twitter and Instagram accounts, although there isn’t much info there yet; their first tweet earlier today was simply, “Hi, we are Wolf Parade.”

Update: Today the band unveiled their first shows for 2016, including residencies in Toronto, New York and London. All tour dates are here.

Wolf Parade’s members have certainly been busy over the past few years, with Dan Boeckner’s involvement in Handsome Furs, Divine Fits and Operators, while Spencer Krug (previously of Sunset Rubdown), has been recording as Moonface.

No hometown Montreal show has been announced yet; are they holding off for Osheaga? Stay tuned.
