Alkaline Trio performing 8 albums over 4 days in NY, LA & Chicago

While performing a classic album in full has become a bit of a live staple these days, Alkaline Trio have upped the ante by promising to play 8 complete albums over 4 nights each in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles this Fall.

Dubbed the “Past Live” tour, the band are shrewdly not revealing which 2 albums they will play each night in advance, so there is ultimately no sure-fire way to purposely avoid hearing “Draculina“. That said, this still seems like like a fun idea, provided you can make it one of the 3 lone cities.

Tickets go on-sale June 19 @ noon local time, and given that the pre-sale this afternoon sold out in about 2 minutes, be ready to hit “refresh” with the quickness.

Hopefully we’ll hear a good smattering of the hits when the Trio play Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello this weekend.
