Alexisonfire release first single in nearly a decade, announce tour dates

Ontario post-screamo rockers Alexisonfire have been teasing new material for a while, and now we finally have something to listen to. The band released the track “Familiar Drugs” today, which sees the band veering into sludgy / stoner territory. Take a listen below.

You can pre-order a 7″ vinyl version of the song here, which includes a laser-etched B-side.


Alexisonfire have also announced a handful of upcoming shows, including a lone Canadian date at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage. Head to the band’s official site for ticket info. You can catch them live a little earlier than that when they live stream their set at the House of Strombo in Toronto tonight (February 15th) at 8:00 pm over on their Facebook page.
