Peaches does not fuck around. The boundary-pushing electroclash performer put on a Broadway-level production at Montreal’s MTelus theater this past week, complete with nearly-naked performers, vagina-hats, and a massive condom that extended deep into the crowd (take that, Flaming Lips).
Touring in support of the 20th-anniversary of the iconic The Teaches of Peaches LP, Peaches more than made up for two years off the road with one of the most thrilling and wild shows this city has seen in ages. With elaborate costume changes for every single song, the show was a sexually-liberting multi-media extravaganza unlike any other, a testament to Peaches’ boundless creativity and general chutzpah.
Check out NSFW-ish (there are some cleverly-placed patsies involved) photos of the night via Bad Feeling Magazine photographer Eva Blue below, including opener KALIFA.
All upcoming Peaches dates are here. This is one tour you don’t want to miss.
