Circle Jerks and 7 Seconds teamed up for a night of classic hardcore at Montreal’s Corona Theatre

Classic ’80s L.A. hardcore band the Circle Jerks were supposed to be out on the road in 2020 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut LP, Group Sex. The pandemic put a halt to those plans for a couple of years, but the band is now finally out on the road just in time for the 40th anniversary of their second LP, 1982’s Wild in the Streets.

That tour hit Montreal’s Corona Theatre on Saturday, April 2, for an incredible bill of classic hardcore that also included a set from Reno legends 7 Seconds, and New Brunswick’s Neighbourhood Watch.

Check out photos of the Circle Jerks and 7 Seconds sets below courtesy of Eric Brisson. The Circle Jerks tour continues through the U.S. with fellow ’80s hardcore vets Negative Approach in tow. For all tour dates, head to the official Circle Jerks site.
