Amazon Studios has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series.
Amazon reportedly spent $465 million on the first season of the show, which follows the forging of the many rings of power, including the One Ring featured in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Set thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels and Peter Jackson’s film trilogy, the new series is set to feature a whooping 22 characters encompassing all the races of Middle Earth.
The principal cast is set to focus on seven characters including Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur), Princess Disa (Sophia Nomvete), Elrond (Robert Aramayo), Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova), Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi) and Halbrand (Charlie Vickers).
