Here’s when you can stream Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+

It may take place a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away, but we now we finally know when we can stream the Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi at home.

Debuting on the Disney+ streaming service on May 25, 2022, the series brings Ewan McGregor back to the Star Wars universe as Obi-Wan Kenobi, reprising the role he played in the prequel trilogy. The series is also set to bring back another prequel trilogy alum, with Hayden Christensen set to reprise his role as Darth Vader.

Additional Obi-Wan Kenobi cast members include Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

According to a press release issued today, the series “begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.

Check out the official poster for the show below.

Obi-Wan Kenobi hits the Disney+ streaming service on May 25, 2022. Maybe we’ll get a sneak peek of the show during this weekend’s Super Bowl? Stay tuned!
